RED PANDA's little helper

NEWS: Red Panda is compatible w/ Firefox 3.6, you can download it here


 RED PANDA's SIDE BAR:

Once installed, you must access Firefox top menu so that to see your Red Panda's side bar:

View > SideBar > Red Panda

will toggle the sidebar (i.e. open it if closed and vice versa).


RED PANDA's CONTEXTUAL MENU (right menu) --

Red Panda adds instant services to your Firefox right-click menu when you highlight a word or phrase and right-click your selected text.

The additional information window options are explained below.

RED PANDA

  • Dictionary: Merriam-Webster's entry
  • Wikipedia:  the Net reference
  • Google Map: works for addresses and some well-known locations
TRANSLATION
  • Translate it: translates the current highlighted text into English
  • Entire Page: translates the entire page into English
SEARCH
  • Google: the search engine
  • News: Google news
  • Images: Flickr images
  • Twitter: search Twitter feeds
MEDIA - PRODUCTS
  • YouTube: video search
  • IMDB Database: movie information
  • CNET Reviews: products referenced by C|Net
  • Amazon Books: titles or keywords
